Facial toning that treats muscle and skin in the same session, without needles.
Emface is one of the few devices that treats two tissues at once. It uses synchronised radiofrequency (RF) for the skin and high-intensity facial electrical stimulation (HIFES) for the underlying muscles, in a single 20-minute session on the face. There are no needles and no downtime.
How it works. Four hands-free applicators sit on the forehead and cheeks. The RF heats the dermis to trigger collagen and elastin remodelling, the same principle behind more familiar tightening treatments. The HIFES current activates the frontalis and zygomatic muscle groups at a much higher rate than they would fire voluntarily, strengthening the muscles that lift the mid-face.
Who it suits. Clients in their 30s and 40s starting to see the beginnings of mid-face descent, but not yet at the stage for a thread lift or surgical intervention. Clients who want a natural lift without changing their features. Clients with active lifestyles who cannot afford recovery time.
What the protocol looks like. Four sessions, one per week. Results begin to show at the second or third session and continue to build for 60 to 90 days after the fourth. We recommend one or two maintenance sessions per year.
What to expect during the session. A warm, wave-like sensation from the RF, and a firm tapping feeling from the HIFES contractions. Most clients describe it as unusual rather than uncomfortable. You can drive, work, and wear makeup immediately afterwards.
Who it does not suit. Anyone with metal implants in the treatment area, pacemakers, active facial infections, or who is pregnant. Skin with very significant laxity generally responds better to ultrasound or RF microneedling as the primary tool, with Emface as a supporting treatment.
The honest read. Emface is not a facelift and does not replace one. What it does exceptionally well is preserve the mid-face lift you already have, and give a subtle lift to clients who are not ready for anything more invasive. Combined with an aesthetic assessment, it is one of the most rewarding maintenance treatments we offer.
