The Process
What to expect at your appointment
1. Consultation
Doctor-led consultation, facial assessment, photographs, and a written plan mapping exactly where Radiesse will be placed and what result to expect.
2. Numbing and prep
Topical numbing cream applied for around 20 minutes. Radiesse also contains lidocaine for additional comfort during injection.
3. Treatment
Radiesse is placed with either a fine needle or a cannula depending on the area. Most sessions take 30 to 45 minutes. The volume effect is immediate.
4. Same-day result
You will see the volumising and contouring effect as soon as the session is finished. Mild swelling for 24 to 48 hours is normal.
5. Progressive improvement
Across the following weeks and months, your skin produces new collagen around the Radiesse microspheres, extending and refining the result.
